A Chef's Kitchen.
John is a classically trained chef. In another life he worked in some of NY, DC and LA's best restaurants. A hot plate and college dorm fridge was not going to fly in our tiny house. At the time when we designed our kitchen, there weren't many to look at on Pinterest, so John designed our kitchen to mimic the movement patterns of a line cook. Cooks "on the line" in a restaurant don't have a ton of space, maybe three feet on either side, but they have all the room they need. Our kitchen is in the shape of an "L" and you can reach the sink, stove and fridge easily from the center of the kitchen.
We often get asked about make and model information on our appliances, so here they are!
It's amazing how spacious the kitchen is.
“Really enjoyed my stay in the Music City Tiny House. It was so helpful to be physically present in a tiny house rather than just seeing pictures. It's amazing how spacious the kitchen is; way bigger than my first apartment kitchen.”
...has a full size stove which is great for cooking.
“Grocery store is right around the corner and the tiny house has a full size stove which is great for cooking. I would defiantly recommend staying a tiny home if your interested in building one yourself! :).”
...well equipped kitchen...
“We were surprised by how well equipped the kitchen was for such a small space - we even made breakfast one morning! ”
